MG TD TF 1500 - the weight of a Sierra T9 gearbox

For air transport purposes; do any of you out there know the weight in kilos (or pounds) of a Sierra T9 gearbox?

Jan, I think it's a little over 75 pounds. Others might know better. There's something about it being a tad over weight for air shipment, but I'm not sure on this, so please check first. PJ

If you are inquiring about the complete conversion kit available through Hi Gear, they pack it into three separate boxes. One of the boxes is overweight in terms of luggage allowance. I looked into bringing them back from London to Toronto, Cda last year as checked luggage, and with the extra luggage charges and hassles, it ended up being more sensible to have the three boxes shipped to Toronto for my pick up at the airport using airport transfers tonbridge. As I recall, shipping cost was about $200 US - likely it'll be less to Oslo.
