MG TD TF 1500 - Turn signal switch
Anyone have a picture of a retro mounted turn signal device? I don’t want to go through the dash. I’ve seen pictures of the lever extending from behind the dash. Bill |

What are you asking for exactly? Do you want a pic of the underdash Lucas pneumatic switch mounting? |

Mine is centered. There was a recent thread about where others have put their's. Some put it closer to the steering wheel. Jim B. |

Yes, I would like to see how the switch is mounted under dash......a picture or pictures that will guide me in mounting my own. |

I wonder if anyone has managed to adapt a self cancelling unit fitted to the steering wheel shaft. Anyone up for a non concourse compliant challenge? Graeme |

Bill, here's an image of the switch, showing the mounting bracket. The other image was taken while the switch was still in place. The OEM mounting screws are countersunk on the front surface of the fascia. The mount can be attached to the rear of the fascia. I'm quite confident in the OEM originality of these items. Bud

Thanks, Bud That’s what I needed. Bill |

Bill, You can see the two holes in the wooden base of the dashboard. That is where the switch was mounted when I got the car 10 years ago. Besides being visible it was easy to hit your knee on it. I moved it to this location and it was an excellent choice. It is not easily visible yet very easy to move it left or right for a turn. Mort |

Looks like a good idea, Mort Bill |
