MG TD TF 1500 - Unlisted TD ?

I tracked down the fellow I had seen around town driving the black TD last night. I knew I was at the right place when I pulled up and saw a gentleman under the bonnet of a 73 midget in the driveway. I stopped the truck and introduced myself and asked if he was the person I had seen driving around in the TD. Well of course he was and he was more than happy to show me his TD. I stayed longer than I should have but got to look the car over and get a little history. Unfortunatly I didn't get the numbers and his car and it might already be listed. He tells me there are two other TD's in town that the owners keep hidden in the garage because they believe they are sitting on gold.
I spent a little time playing with the new DSL that finally made it out to the sticks and was checking out the various sites and came across some nostalgia photos. Gordon, were you cool or what? You looked almost Lennon like in the one pose. What happened to our hair?
