That sure looks like a ZA/ZB Magnette manifold. The later ones did not have the MG logo cast into them. |

Yes it's Z-Magnette. You sometimes see them on XPAG TD's, but the need to be modified slightly as tholes don't line up perfectly. Compare it with the TD snorkel in the picture (TD airfilter not quite the right shape). |

Willem does the one for the TD in your pic have the following casting number, 24277, on the top? If so it is the same as mine. It's been suggested to me that snorkels with this number are not original to the TD but are from a YT. I remain unconvinced as they may well have been fitted to early TD's. Yep ZB. Just sold a 57 that had that manifold. I remember noting how far out the MG emblem stuck on that manifold. |
