Colin - I retired in 2002, but that was from my day job. I still restore SU fuel pumps and convert them to solid state, but not during the summer months. I am open for business from the first of October through the 31st of May. Slats Wolfe was doing the pumps for me earlier, but he has recently had some health issues and may not be doing them for awhile. His e-mail is slatskars@comcast.net If he is not able to do the pump for you, check the links section of my web site at: slatskars@comcast.net for two other people who do the pumps. If you want to wait until October, e-mail me at SUfuelpumps@donobi.net and I'll put you on my tickler list and contact you in late Sept. Cheers - Dave |

I guess I could, it s just a spare unit. Speaking of fuel problems, I noticed a gasoline odor in my garage after driveing the TF. Flipped open the bonnet and click on the key and found a leaking hose between the two carbs. My 57 year old hose had broken. Glad I found it prior to Friday and our trip to GOF Midwest. Little British Car which is only a few miles away had one, so new one is back in and running. fuel was dripping down on the starter and exhaust pipe.........not good. I did have some issue in getting it to seal on the banjo fitting.even with new seals. |

I believe Mark Medynski in KY mentioned that he is also rebuilding pumps right now, and has a good supply of cores. Tom |
