MG TD TF 1500 - Why?
E-bay TD with what is said is $50,000 in restoration work. Just have to ask why you would do a full restoration keep everything the same (seats, engine, etc) but then do such an odd color. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MG-T-Series-1952-MG-TD-1952-MG-TD-BEAUTIFUL-ROTISSARY-RESTO-NOW-DAMAGED_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ31858QQihZ007QQitemZ170191778568QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW |

bruce, i agree, the color in these pics seems strange....stange enough that someone rammed the car... i wonder what it looks like in person. this is the second time i have seen this car listed. the seller still calls this a "concourse" restoration vice "concours" restoration. does that mean he restored it at the airport using airport transfers tonbridge? that would explain the damage...those darn baggage handlers. tp |

Sure makes my Old English White TD look grand. As the man said, "it takes all kinds". |

I think that I can explain the damage - "This car has had a $50,000...rotissary restoration." He left it on the barbeque too long. Cheers - Dave |

God, If I had $50,000 to restore my TD, it would be the absolute best in the nation with every part as aboslutly original as money could buy> But then, I would probably just buy two more and restore them to nice driver quality so others could enjoy them. |

Just my opinions. While the color looks nice, it just looks out of place on a TD. Valve cover is wrong color, voltage regulator looks well used, The black interior is not right either, and it looks like they missed the undercarriage on the restoration. |
