Triumph Spitfire - Wheel in 14' for a Spit.
I would like to replace 13" steel wheels by a larger diameter 14" mag wheel. Does someone has ever tried that and from wich model of car wheel did it come from.

|You can get wheel adapters (expensive-at least to me at $250.00 on eBay)to allow for 14" wheels. I personally like the look of dished wheels instead of the ones made for FWD cars that need clearance, flat because the offset is to the outside. But vintage wheels are hard to find and to keep the car from riding high with the larger size, I'd go with low profile. Go wide on rim with, also as that makes a big differencen, needless to say, around curves.|
|Check out my site www.cockayne.org I have found wheels in 14, 15 & 16 inch to fit Spitfires. the bolt pattern is 4 boly 3.75" with a 12 mm offset. look under links.|
Thanks I found infos on compomotive wheels. They have many models and now I have just to determine a spit. wheel offset for a 14"x6".
