Triumph TR3 - TR2 Cooling
I am restoring a 1954 TR2, TS2244L. The engine is going to be modified, with 86 mm pistons, increased compression, gas flowed head, bigger valves, performance exhaust, fast road (and a little bit) cam. In my past experience, TR series cars run hot and these modifications are going to make the problem worse. I plan on using a radiator without the hole for the crank handle, so that should help somewhat. So will an oil cooler, but I'm not sure of a good way to mount it, given the inner mounting configuration for the grille. I really don't want to mount it in front of the grille. Any general cooling suggestions or specific suggestions for this application? |

I'm sorry about my mistake in placing my TR2 cooling thread in the TR3 section. |
