Triumph TR6 - A TR6 Christmas.
T'was the night before Christmas And out in the shop A jolly old man got in with a hop. He took off his gloves And grabbed onto the wheel As he said to himself I'll bet this one will squeel! His foot pushed the clutch Right down to the floor His hand did the gears, one through to four. Then he got out and gazed At the paint and the chrome The wheels and the lines The markings from ore 'om This must be a good one He said to himself As soon as I get home I must tell all elfs. The reindeer must go The sleigh I will nix Cause next year Santa comes In a red TR6 Cheers , Pete. |

To all my TR6 friends I know and the ones I have yet to meet I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year no matter your race, creed or colour !! All the Best !!! Charlie |

HO HO HO to all, Peter I guess you will be having a barbie (BBQ) in Victoria, here in Nova Scotia we will be having a mix of UK (for me) and Newfoundland (for the missus). I feel sorry for those folks who departed from the Commonwealth some years ago as they do not have Boxing Day off as we do. Anyway if you want to see a cool hot RED TR6 see my posting "What a gift" 15 Dec 08, and see the great picture....could be Santa. So to all, have a splendid and safe Christmas. les |

I can't be as clever at Peter and Charlie but I would like to wish all the BBS users and British car owners a safe and Happy Holiday and New Year. It's only 4 months to motoring season again. I hope the Ontario (Michigan and New York)group can get together for a rally this coming year. |

Seasons Greetings to all TR6 and other classic car owners. Les, I notice that even Vancouver/Victoria had snow this week. Serve them right for being so smug! Regards, Barry 75 TR6 |

Les, Yep a family barbie is planned for the Sunday after Christmas Day. The only day everyone can be in the one place at the same time due to work and other family commitments. Saw the news of the snow and ice in the northern part of the USA / Canada and it looked pretty severe. Hop you are all OK up there. Here we have the problems at the opposite end of the climate spectrum. High temps , low water and the bushfire season. Think California of a few months or so ago and you get the idea. Finally I see the local church group has had to cancel the local showing of the nativity scene again. They still can't fine three wise men. ! Seasons greetings to all. Cheers , Pete. |

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from my garage to yours and thanks to all once again for the advice this year. As many of you know this was my year to fly to the west coast and pick up the car that's been in restoration for a couple or more years and drive it back to Ontario. That's done and with the threads I've printed to help complete the resto next spring & summer, my wife and I should have good TR6ing times ahead. Pete... even with two 1500 watt heaters in the garage it is just too darn cold for this wimp to work out there of late so it's time to spoil the grandkids. One arrives today... she's a skier at age 4 and this area has lots of hills to offer. Mike... I too would like to join in on a rally and meet some of the BBS members. I surely hope to at least drive south Georgian Bay to Rick C's - whether I'm invited or not ;>). In the meantime, the days are getting longer and we are soon snowbirding to FL to warm up and daydream about next summer. Best to everyone! Ken |

Ken You know you are invited. Yes a Merry Christmas to all and the best of health and happiness for the new year. Rick |

Sad news from SANTA. Date line: NORTH POLE. Due to the current economic tough times the reindeer formerly know as "Vixen" will now be know as "Venison". The Head Elf was unavailable for comment. Pete. |

Ken Driving up in Rick's area is excellent through the Blue Mountains. And it would be great to have you come this way. I have to see this car that made the West Coast to Ontario run. Maybe we can get Les out this way if his restoration is done. Pete- Sorry to hear abour Vixen. I guess things are tough all over. Was that part of the barbie menu? |
Michael Petryschuk |
Michael, Bambi on the barbie? Umm , probably not. Cheers , Pete. |
