Triumph TR6 - Competition coil spring???
I coulsd buy rear competition coil sprigs at a very good price. Does someone have ever try these and what results on car handling. Many thanks, JGC. |

If you only uprate the rear springs i.e. stiffer rating, then the front rear/balance willbe upset. If the imbalance is such that the front suspension bottoms out in a fast corner there is strong probability of getting sudden sever understeer. |

TRF advises against the "competition" spring as it is harsh for street and lowers the car 1". I also agree that front and rear sus[pensions should be upgraded at the same time. ADDCO goes to the extreme to make sure rear sway bar is added AFTER front one is upgraded. I went the middle road with TRF "rally springs" on all four corners, the =y have a good package deal at this time (until 7 JAN). Once again change shocks, trailing arm bushings and get your alignement checked. |
