Triumph TR6 - Flooding SUs
My SUs flood after shut down when warm. I've rebuilt them, twice replaced the needle and seats, lowered the floats until I run out of gas above 4500 rpm. All to no avail. It's time to switch, but I dont want to go with side draft Webbers. Anyone have any good reccomendations? |

Joe, Two things: has fuel pump switched off? could fuel be siphoning out of float chamber down the overflow pipes? The latter could dump a float chamber of fuel on the tarmac and the "leak" would not restart until the fuel pump was reactivated(hence apparent need for warm engine?) |
