Triumph TR6 - Propshaft removal
I read in Roger Williams resto book that you cannot remove the propshaft without either taking the diff or the gearbox out. the BL workshop manual makes no mention of this, only removing the exhaust, does anyone have any experience of doing this job as I have only had the propshaft out when the car was completely dismantled.
|I have removed the propshaft with the diff and gearbox in place. It is tight and takes some wiggling, but can be done.|
|Thanks for the information Steve, hopefully I won't need to do do it for a while but I was curious due to the discrepancy in the two books, it certainly doesn't look like an easy job|
