Triumph TR6 - Rear Shock Conversion
This owner of a '74 TR6 would like information about the different types of rear shock conversion kits. What have you tried? Was the conversion difficult - did everything fit? Is there a perticular brand/type to stay clear of? Brand of shock? Rebuild the old ones? Thanks in advance. |

I intend to do that conversion myself and a very easy task todo with scrap metal and the right shock (both end bayonnet type). I found that Volvo 1965 front shock will be perfect with a 6" travel lenght. This will end the wobbling rear. And for many years I have and ADDCO rear sway bar in the basement, it will finally be on the car. Cheers, J.G.Catford |
