Triumph TR6 - Riedel Soft Top Article

I contacted Nelson Riedel seeking his article on Soft Top installation previously posted on BuckEye. He responded that the article was no longer available. Might ANYONE have archived a copy of his instructions?

Doug,

I printed a copy, somewhere..? I'll see if I still have it and send you a copy if you'd like. It should prove helpful as with all of Nelson's articles, he goes into great detail. I believe this was a follow up to the VTR article.

FYI, I have copies of some Carbs, Brakes, and clutch articles too.

Would you be so kind as to send me the article also.

I discussed, in another thread, the collection of data from the WWW and putting it on CD. Well I have done it. It is a collection from as many sites as I could find and old archive stuff also. It is divided into 3 parts; information sheets, procedures, and diagnostics. We seem to be loosing valuable info on the WWW for fear of being sued.
I do not think it is ready yet (for all to have)as more stuff needs to be added.

Thanks Bob

Paddy,

If you don't see a particular subject from the Buckeye link below, contact me and I'll see if I have a printed copy. You may contact me off-line if you'd like. By the way, where in New York are you? Good luck.

Rick- Here Here, way to go. Copies for everyone and if anybody wants to sue we will take him behind the barn and give him the going over!!!
DON KELLY

Thank you, Mark
I am from Manhattan. I will go over the Buckeye Site this week and let you know. At one time, I thought all these stuffs will be available on www forever. I was so wrong.

We are only interest in the history of our TR community. We circlate these materials for their sole documentary value, to recognise what had happened on the internet in the past. There is nothing else and nothing more. If anyone uses these articles other than this historical purpose. There is nobody but oneself to blame.

Thank you. It took me a while to get all the stuff. I sent a "first try" to Bill B. for his opinion of what I had collectd to that point. Paddy yes unfortunately we are loosing some valuable info. I am attempting to save it in one nice little package for all. My concern is "copy right". I will NOT!!!! be selling the CD. There is cost involved in the CD, jewel case, mailer envelope, and mail cost itself. I figure around 5 bucks to cover cost and to cover cost ONLY. I would appreciate comments here ( on copy right etc.).
It is not complete yet as I also want to get that "repairs operation manual" that is a current thread (22MB).
The current file is about 14MB+22MB= 36MB and with my dial up I would make a career out of being on the internet sending it to you chaps....no thanks! If anyone has a better method of distribution I am wide open to suggestions.

Does anyone have this article in .MHT format not .HTML.
When saved in .mht format all the neat little .jpgs are in the document not as seperate .jpeg files.
Thanks

Thanks Bob, it will go into my CD collection.
Rick Crawford

Bob,
Please send me your collection of articles.
paddykan@hotmail.com

Rick,
email me your addr and I will send you a CD of the manual. The best thing is we start a chain mail so we don't have to reimburse anyone. And let me start from here.

Mark
Can you send me your collection of articles so I can scan it in. Then I will Burn them in a CD together with the manual, and those info Bob send over. So we will start a chain mail in US and another in Canda. If you send by mail, my address is

Paddy
Sounds like a plan. I will send you my address via e-mail.
Charlie Ballard is going to send me a CD with the "repair operations manual" I will hold off sending you a CD till I get that part added to my CD collection. Then in the US will be a good collection of information.
I have the soft top install procedure but the pics are seperate from the article. Thanks again to Bob Craske and Doug Baker.

Paddy does your copy of the soft top install procedure come complete with pictures IN the article? Wait a second... are you talking the Repair operations manual? If so no problem, I will get it from Charlie and send to you N/C My CD collection then you start the chain in the US. But I still need the soft top install procedure (with the pics internal to the file)...anyone??

Rick C
Rick Crawford

Paddy,

I'll warm up the copier. I won't include any that have too many grease smudges on them. I do have articles from other sources besides the Buckeye site that I may include as well. You should have the package by the end of the week.
