Triumph TR6 - ULTIM-EIGHT TR6
Check out the latest issue of "Triumph World" #70, great article on Al Wayenberg's 1972 TR6 V8. Al lives in British Columbia, if you don't get Triumph World then perhaps someone who knows him can post some pictures?
Les, where can I get Triumph World? This car sounds good. Have I perhaps tempted you to the darkside.
Found it. Keep forgeting the abilities of the internet.
Glad you found "Triumph World" I think it really is a good magazine and is available form all good bookstores Chapters,Coles etc.
Am I considering the conversion? I dont know yet, but I am doing some reseach into it. I have been offered a V6 out of a Taurus. But who knows.
By the way how is your rebuild comming along? Still expecting the body off the frame in December? I cant wait.... I can really. Just spent the last few weeks sandblasting the brakes and suspension parts.
V6!!!!!!! AAAHHHHHGGGGGG!!!! Petwooooy! Les don't ever
swear like that again or no free frame.
The rebuild.... well the insurance guys sure know how to drag things out. You would think they work for the Government the way they drag their feet. If you get a reply from them once every two weeks you doing well.
I had to purchase the frame and all of the replacement parts on my own Visa so we could get going. I hope I get re-imbursed! Yeah, still hopeing for frame off in Dec. we'll see.
Just testing for reaction. I have to read more on the V8 conversions.
