Triumph TR6 - wheel studs
I am currently restoring a TVR Taimar(1980) This car used TR6 hubs, both front and rear. I would like to change the alloy wheels that are currently fitted for more contemporary ones. I have established the the PCD is 108mm (The same as Peugoet's). I also know that my car has an off-set of Zero. The lowest current off-set available is again used by Peugeot, that is +15mm. This means that if I use a 15mm spacer I will be able to fit modern wheels without there being any effect on the suspension geometry or bearing loads. This unfortunatley means that I require extended studs. Does anyone know of a source for these...Alternatively, does anyone know what the thread of these items are. As I have established that ford used 7/16UNF studs and Burton performance can supply extended studs and spacers. |
