Triumph TR6 - Winter Drive??

Due to unseasonably warm temps lately all snow is gone here so went to take the TR out for a Leap Year spin this afternoon in balmy 8*C sunny weather only to find my clutch needed bleeding again. No drive but got the clutch bled this evening. Forecast tomorrow is 9*C with morning showers clearing in the p.m. so I'm ready to go for a first-ever March 1st drive in the TR tomorrow. Fingers crossed. Gotta love this global warming business! Will check in tomorrow evening with a report.
Cheers,

Wow 9 C in NL - and 2 days in a row and no snow- enjoy the day Bob.

Update:
Tuesday dawned warm with temp at 10*C by 10:00 am - dropped back to 9*C by 11:00 with heavy rains kicking in. Forecast was for clearing with sunny breaks in the afternoon but Mother Nature, the old bat rained on my parade and it continues to be wet with a fine mist - no dry pavement to play on :(
Wednesday's forecast is more seasonally normal with 2*C predicted but sunny all day. That's the best window for the rest of the week so if I don't get my "Leap Year" early drive in tomorrow I guess it will be April again as usual. Except for the damn clutch bleeding down yesterday was the perfect day. Go figure :)

Hoo-rah! Got my drive in yesterday after all. After posting here and giving up on the day it quickly turned with the sun coming back around 4:00 pm with brisk wind that dried the pavement so off I went for a short jaunt at 4:30 in rush hour traffic. I'd had enough of that after 30 minutes so headed back to the barn for the evening. Today is already 4*C and sunny, not a cloud in sight so I'm going to take an extended drive around noon. Definitely a treat getting out on Mar. 1st. All that being said, on Saturday we are expecting the snow that is pounding Ontario today as it moves into the Maritimes and then on to us. We never thought Winter was over up here but all hands very happy for our welcomed break from the bad stuff for the last couple weeks. There she is parked outside the barn after her ride.

Got my second drive in this afternoon. I did just under 50 miles (80K) in balmy +4*C conditions. Heater works good thank heaven because it was a bit nippy going that long and far. Stopped at a couple of beachfront areas to take some pics and got my pic taken more than once. She sure gets attention with the top down on a Winter's day. A Brit guy flagged me down at Topsail Beach to talk about the car and ask if I had any trouble finding "bits" for it. He had a TR7 back in the day and said he hadn't seen a TR6 since he left England. Talked a while - fun to meet people that way. Took her on the highway for a few miles and opened her up. Goes like stink with the new cam but definitely needs an O/D and the speedo is whacked out with the 205-70 x 15 tires so I'll take my GPS next time to ascertain actual speed. All in all a pretty fun afternoon. Updated forecast shows us getting that snow so Winter is nowhere near over out here either but I'm just happy to have gotten these two rides in just for the hell of it! Couple more waterside pics.
Cheers,
Bob

She looks really good. We are almost to the point of getting the cars into the sunshine here as well. The snow is pretty much gone and the temps are (relatively) balmy. It is a marvelous thing when your car can not only make you smile, but others as well

Bob -
Can you please share the MFG and offset of the wheels you have on your car. They look great and seem to fit well with those 205/70's.I plan on keeping my restored factory wheels for shows but want a set of alloy's for fast road driving.
